Mission Kitchen & Bar

Every month I have the pleasure of going to happy hour with my aunts, cousins, siblings, and husband.  As most of them work in downtown Minneapolis, we generally target that area for happy hour.  There are some fantastic happy hour deals out there and I intend to share them with you!  All in due time of course.

This month, we congregated at Mission Kitchen & Bar located on Nicollet Ave & 7th Street in the IDS tower. 

Their happy hour runs from 4-6pm Monday through Friday.  While they have a decent tap list and wine list,  don't expect much in the way of reduced prices on drinks.

What they do have is half-price appetizers!  They have an extensive list including things like chili-infused steamed mussels, seafood ceviche, and beef brisket sliders.  I had the Kalbi beef shortribs.  They were delicious and you get a huge portion; definitely enough for dinner.  With the happy hour deal, they were just $7 which seemed like a steal.  I have only been there once, but would definitely go back.
