Boating the St. Croix

Boating is for sure one of my favorite past-times.  I love the heat, being on the water, the wind in my hair, and the expectation of just laying out and relaxing.  Somehow it's just so much better than laying out on land.  My brother-in-law's family owns a boat and he was kind enough to take us out yesterday.  Despite the cooler temperature, we had a blast and did see the sun shine for a while.  We launched in Hudson, WI and made our way to Afton.  We continued to cruise down the river and just enjoy this experience.  So relaxing... a perfect way to spend a Saturday!

An added benefit of launching in Hudson is stopping at the liquor store beforehand and getting some Spotted Cow for the journey!!!
